NAHQ Fellowship
The National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) Fellowship Program was developed to recognize NAHQ members who have made outstanding contributions to the healthcare quality profession. Pursuit of fellowship demonstrates dedication to excellence and commitment to leadership. NAHQ Fellows act as a blueprint for the ideal career path in the industry.
Requirements
Consideration of an applicant includes review of credentials, employment background, and education. The NAHQ Fellowship Review Team (FRT) determines Fellow status based on contributions in 3 of the 4 following categories:
- Leadership/Service
- Published Works
- Lectures/Presentations
- Mentorship
Application Process
2012 Fellowship Application
NAHQ strongly urges all members to set aside time to review the NAHQ Fellowship Application before deciding to apply. Declare your intent to apply with a letter directed to the NAHQ FRT chair, Mary Huddleston, by February 29, 2012. This letter should be submitted electronically to Lori Barker, NAHQ staff,

. The FRT will match you will a fellow to assist you with the application process. Your application will not be considered if you do not declare your intent to apply by the stated deadline.
The Fellowship application, supplementary materials, and a nonrefundable $200 fee must be received by the NAHQ office by April 16, 2012. All application and supplementary materials must be submitted electronically on CD. Review the electronic submission guidelines for help in formatting your application. Please note that current members of the NAHQ Board of Directors are excluded from application for Fellowship.
