THERE ARE SO MANY WAYS YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE TO JHQ
Feature article. Full-length papers on a topic of interest to JHQ readers. Authors typically reference current literature to support their main ideas and to provide readers with valuable resources.
Brief report/Quality story/Quality toolbox. Shorter than feature-length, these submissions focus on a quality innovation. Did JCAHO, NCQA or CARF praise a form or procedure during your last site visit? Is there a project you just completed that resulted in important lessons learned? These are appropriate topics for this type of submission.
Media and Internet reviews. Is there a book, CD ROM, online course, that you have recently come across of which you think other readers might be interested? Send products for review to the Media Editor. Did you find a site recently that really impressed you? Would you like to share the site with other readers? Send your ideas to the Quality NETwork Editor.
Interviews with quality leaders. Is there someone you know who is innovative in their approach to healthcare quality? Let us know about them so that we can interview them for the journal.
Quality viewpoint. Tell us how you would complete the sentence: “Healthcare quality is…”
Letters to the Editor. We want to hear from you! How are we doing in providing information that is responsive to the changing needs of the membership/readership and is reflective of emerging quality trends, techniques and technologies? Send a Letter to the Editor.
Information for authors. Make sure you review JHQ’s Information for Authors prior to submitting your work to JHQ.
