NAHQ Honors 2011 Fellows
The National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ), a professional association of healthcare quality and patient safety individuals, inducted two new NAHQ fellows at the 36th Annual Educational Conference in Sacramento, CA, September 15-18.
President Susan Goodwin, MS RN FACHE CPHQ FNAHQ, announced the fellows during the general session and acknowledged the time and energy the fellows contribute to the profession as well as the significant role they play in healthcare quality and patient safety.
NAHQ Fellowship
The NAHQ Fellowship Program was developed to recognize NAHQ members who have made outstanding contributions to the healthcare quality profession. Pursuit of fellowship demonstrates dedication to excellence and commitment to leadership. Two new fellows were inducted in 2011.
Norma Torres Delgado, MHSA CPHQ FNAHQ, is the President at Masters in Healthcare Quality Inc. in Puerto Rico. As a leader in quality, Delgado works on the "Quality Rally" initiative, hosts a weekly healthcare quality radio show, offers volunteer consulting on surveying and process improvement and is a speaker and mentor within local healthcare organizations.
Marsha Moxley, MA BSN RN CPHQ FNAHQ is the Vice President Clinical Quality at TeamTSI, Inc and past president of the Florida Association for Healthcare Quality (FAHQ). Moxley is a long time volunteer and leader at the state level in Florida, instructs CPHQ review courses and coaches and speaks nationally on quality topics.
