Smith Challenges Members to Find "Quality
Buddy"
Incoming NAHQ President Thom Smith challenged attendees at the 2007
Annual Educational Conference to find a “Quality Buddy,” preferably
a new acquaintance from a different state, to correspond with and
learn from throughout the year. Smith plans to pose the same
challenge to all members in the near future and noted that the goal
behind the challenge is to encourage communication among members
and nonmembers. He further encouraged conference attendees to reach
out to nonmembers to engage in conversation about the benefits of
membership and to “ride the new wave of NAHQ."
