Smith Challenges Members to Find "Quality Buddy"
Incoming NAHQ President Thom Smith challenged attendees at the 2007 Annual Educational Conference to find a “Quality Buddy,” preferably a new acquaintance from a different state, to correspond with and learn from throughout the year. Smith plans to pose the same challenge to all members in the near future and noted that the goal behind the challenge is to encourage communication among members and nonmembers. He further encouraged conference attendees to reach out to nonmembers to engage in conversation about the benefits of membership and to “ride the new wave of NAHQ."
