Beginning Your Conference Experience

The Association's Registration Desk

After you have checked in with hotel registration and settled your things in your room, look for the association’s registration desk.  Directional signs in the hotel will lead you to the association’s registration desk. Depending upon when you arrive, the association’s registration desk may be open. If it is not open, a sign will indicate the times at which it will be. Plan to check in as early as possible so that you don’t risk missing the first 15 minutes of the first session.

Checking in at the registration desk is your first step in the conference experience. It is where you will receive your identification badge, Program Book, day-at-a-glance schedule, and map of the hotel, as well as other useful resources.

Identification Badges

Identification badges are provided at the registration desk and must be worn at all conference events, even receptions and dinners.  Think of your badge as your all-access pass to events included in your conference registration fee.

Ticketed Events

You may find additional tickets in the identification badge envelope you receive at registration (e.g., a guest dinner ticket if you added that to your registration).  Keep these tickets handy by tucking them behind your identification badge in your badgeholder.

*In order to receive continuing education credits, you must attend entire sessions and submit a completed evaluation form.*
