Helpful Tips for First-Time Attendees
Attending a conference with allied healthcare quality professionals from around the country and the globe opens up a world of opportunities for growth, learning, and fellowship. Please review the following tips to enhance your conference experience.
- Register before the early-bird deadline of August 3, 2009, and save $125!
- Don't wait to register on-site. If you register before the conference, you can check in at the kiosk designated for those who have preregistered and avoid the registration line.
- Remember to wear your identification badge at all times inside the conference area. Think of your badge as your all-access pass to events included in your conference registration fee.
- Be sure to remove your identification badge when you leave the conference area.
- Conference staff will not be able to take messages for or contact another attendee. If you wish to contact another attendee, you may leave a message on the Message Board located near the registration desk.
- Please bring a light sweater or jacket with you to your sessions—meeting room temperatures tend to fluctuate.
- Make sure to attend NAHQ's networking events!
Getting Approval to Attend
Many attendees are able to get approval from their facilities to attend NAHQ's Annual Conference. Please download and use our customizable sample letter to request approval from your facility.
