Continuing Education Credit
NAHQ will apply for continuing education (CE) credit to the following organizations: the Certified Professional in healthcare Quality (CPHQ) program; the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), which approves CE credits for the maintenance of the Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) and Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) credentials; the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management (ASHRM), which approves CE credits for the Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) credentialthe Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC), which approves CE credits for the maintenance of the Certified Case Manager (CCM) credential; and the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (ARN), which is accredited as an approver of continuing education in nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
ASHRM and CCMC will award credit only for courses that directly apply to the content outlines for their examinations. NAHQ will update its conference Web site and on-site materials to indicate the courses that have been granted these specific CE credit approvals.
