State Visits
The purpose of the NAHQ State Visits is to improve and strengthen the relationship between State Affiliats and the National Organization. The schedule is observed but flexible if a visit is not conducive to your state during your slated year.
Leadership Model
NAHQ developed the Healthcare Quality Professional Leadership Development Model based on the belief that to initiate change within the profession, one first needs to understand the leadership competencies essential to the profession. This straightforward model is intended to make a positive impact on quality and patient safety, as well as influence collaborative initiatives. The model's framework defines competencies for quality professionals that span their entire career, from entry to advanced level.
State Awards
The NAHQ Professional Recognition Program includes several state awards. Visit the professional recognition page to learn about the Award for Association Excellence, as well as the sub-categories available, including newsletter/website, educational program, support of CPHQ certification, and support of National Healthcare Quality week.
2012 State Leaders’ Summit
Registration is now open for the 2012 State Leaders' Summit. NAHQ will host the 2012 State Leaders’ Summit on Friday, March 9, and Saturday, March 10, in the Hilton Rosemont in Rosemont, IL. The summit aims to strengthen the relationship between NAHQ and the State Associations and to provide State Associations with the tools to effectively run and improve a membership organization. There are also ample opportunities to network with other attendees.
